I bought this as the kindle daily deal. I am a happy ending girl but I was really interested in real life break up stories. I gave it 5 stars because it was just so interesting to me. I looked forward to reading a new break up story every evening. If it had been short fiction stories it wouldn't have been as interesting. It was the fact that these were written by the people who had lived them that pulled me in. I've already recommended it to my sister and my nieces. (I wouldn't give it to my 8th grade students though.)

These short stories are insightful, engrossing, and wonderfully readable. Sometimes they made me laugh, other times they were very moving. I recommend them to any woman looking for a terrific summer read!
These short stories are a perfect bedtime treat- pacy, well written with great plots and characters. I highly recommend them
I thoroughly enjoyed reading these short stories. Each one was so well written that it was hard to put down. It was insightful to read how each woman dealt with their relationship and got through what their 'man' had done to wrong them. They had their justification! I recommend this book to those out there who want to realize what a good situation they have in their lives already... Enjoy!
Well I obviously have some deep seated attraction to "bad boys" that I need to address. Ha! I just read When Love Goes Bad and I enjoyed almost all of the stories. I mean, with titles like, "Savage Thrusts," how could I not? Great, easy read full of sexy stories that really got me going.
Having had my fair share of bad relationships, it is always nice to read stories that
make me feel I am not alone. When Loves Goes Bad definitely made me feel
better about my past experiences with its extremely provocative and scandalous
stories of disastrous love affairs. Better than I could ever imagine. It
is hard to believe that these could be true! The 12 stories in the book
are all different but all document stories that are so intense and so venomous
they make you realize that some relationships are so full with drama they are
worthy of a book!
The perfect read on the go. These stories are the perfect length for reading while I'm waiting to pick up my kids, having a cup of coffee, or when I want a quick read before bedtime. The stories all touch on the many ways love can go wrong. I enjoyed the diversity of characters and wide range of emotions the stories evoked. I found myself laughing one minute and getting a bit teary the next. Some of the stories reminded me of my own life (controlling mother in law) and others made me feel grateful for my life ("I Won't Wear a Black Eye on My Wedding Day.") I highly recommend this book for a dozen tiny vacations!
I was so disappointed in this collection . . . the stories were so trite and for the most part, the endings were abrupt and non-satisfying as well as totally predictable. These first-person stories should be a great opportunity for the writer to engage the reader with sympathetic, likeable main characters. Not so much here.
